About Abbie
I am a relaxed, bubbly, fun, yet professional Marriage Celebrant based on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria.
I am a lover of ice-cream, chocolate, a good red wine, exercise – well it’s a love/hate relationship, and spending time with family and good friends. I am the happiest and most relaxed when outdoors with my family on an adventure.
I started as a wedding celebrant back in 2012 after having a brilliant experience with my own celebrant. My celebrant was professional, funny, ever so caring and just an all-round beautiful person. She inspired me to take the leap when my youngest of 3 children was only 9 weeks old. Yep I juggled 3 kids and hubby with study and being a school teacher… I am certainly someone who can manage a number of projects at any one time.
Planning your wedding is an exciting time in your life which at times can be a little overwhelming. You can rest assured that I will keep you calm and relaxed as much as possible in the lead up to your big day, with the process being fun and engaging. I will guide you every step of the way. I pride myself on ensuring your ceremony is a true reflection of the love and fun you share.
I cant’t put into the right words just how grateful we are that you were our celebrant. From the very start we knew you were the fit for us. You made us feel so calm on the day (especially me). I felt like as soon as I saw you and spoke to you I felt instant support and comfort. You captured who we were separately and together. Our guests loved the ceremony and so did we. Thank you so much for everything you did for us. You made it everything we could have wanted and more.

All ceremonies I create are based on your relationship and the style and vibe you like. It can range from structured and formal to lighthearted and relaxed, whether you are having your ceremony in a park, beach, venue or a barn style, the best ceremonies are those that reflect your love for one another and where everyone can have a laugh.
Do it your way! The ceremony sets the tone for the entire celebration. So let’s have some fun and enjoy this wonderful occasion with all your favorite family and friends.
All Inclusive Package
You get what the title suggests – everything!
- A number of meetings either face to face, FaceTime or zoom.
- Planning meeting to complete and lodge the legal paperwork along with discussing options for your day.
- Access to my client portal on my website - offering loads of resources.
- Creation of your ceremony, personalized and all yours - ceremony length anywhere from 20-45 minutes.
- Me as your celebrant on your wedding day.
- Use of my PA system for ceremony audio and music. Bluetooth connectivity.
- Presentation of the commemorative marriage certificate along with your ceremony script and printed vow cards.
- All legal paperwork submitted to Births, Deaths and Marriages.
Elopement / Micro Style Ceremony
You want to get married without too much fuss!
- One meeting either face to face, FaceTime or zoom to complete and lodge the legal paperwork along with discussing options for your day.
- Access to my client portal on my website - offering loads of resources.
- Creation of your ceremony, personalized and all yours. This is a shorter version of the All Inclusive Package - 15 minutes approximately.
- Me as your celebrant on your wedding day.
- Use of my PA system for ceremony audio and music. Bluetooth connectivity.
- Presentation of the commemorative marriage certificate along with your ceremony script and printed vow cards.
- All legal paperwork submitted to Births, Deaths and Marriages.
Legals Only Ceremony
- One meeting either face to face, FaceTime or zoom to complete and lodge the legal paperwork along with discussing options for your day.
- Access to my client portal on my website - offering loads of resources.
- Me as your celebrant on your wedding day.
- Presentation of the commemorative marriage certificate.
- All legal paperwork submitted to Births, Deaths and Marriages.
Funeral from $700
I am available to meet with family to hear endearing stories and memories of your loved one. I work with you to create a ceremony that reflects the person and provide a space for the grieving to continue and the healing to progress.
It is a wonderful privilege to create an eulogy and I am also available to guide and support family members or friends to write it themselves and also deliver it at the ceremony.
I am always on hand to provide a calming presence, warmth and care to you and your family.
Funeral from $700
I am available to meet with family to hear endearing stories and memories of your loved one. I work with you to create a ceremony that reflects the person and provide a space for the grieving to continue and the healing to progress.
It is a wonderful privilege to create an eulogy and I am also available to guide and support family members or friends to write it themselves and also deliver it at the ceremony.
I am always on hand to provide a calming presence, warmth and care to you and your family.
I couldn’t recommend Abbie highly enough! Throughout the wedding planning process she was always fantastic with communication and also gave us a list of wedding suppliers to help make the journey an absolute breeze! On the big day Abbie came and spoke to us both before the ceremony. She was not only a calming presence but a familiar face for both a nervous bride and groom, which just goes to show you how much time she invests in a couple. She was always professional but gave us a casual ceremony we wanted and she was such a hit that 2 of our guests have booked to have her as their celebrant for their weddings. Thank you so much Abbie for being such a big part of our special day.

Laura and Nick
Barn & Co. Balnarring
Laura and Nick drew on the barn’s natural rustic style, adorning it with green foliage and white florals to give it a classic yet stunning look. There wasn’t an element that hadn’t been thought of. Together with Laura and Nick’s vision and Emma Currie’s on the day coordination the day was seamless.
Throughout our catch up’s Laura mentioned that she thought she would be blubbering mess as she walked down the aisle with her father. However, in reality Laura’s smile could not be wiped off her face. On the other hand, the moment Nick saw Laura, a few emotional deep breaths were needed. The ceremony was full of emotion, a few giggles and maybe a tear of happiness here and there.
Kyra Boyer was the legend behind the lens, capturing every moment and Laura and Nick’s favorite part being the sunset shots. Faz from Iconic Pictures created a superb film of this wonderful day – one that will be treasured for years to come. Check out my Instagram page to see this clip.

No better way to celebrate your love than at a stunning winery on the gorgeous Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Ashleigh and James were surrounded by a crowd of close friends and family. These two people are the life of any party and no one was going to miss this one!!!
Their divine little girl, Olivia was a show stopper and such a trooper through the warm afternoon’s activities.
Everyone needed to cast their minds back 12 years to when Ashleigh and James met at high school. They didn’t start off on the right foot but it didn’t take long for James to realize there was something extraordinary about his soon to be love of his life.
James has always been a trickster and he didn’t disappoint when he fake proposed to Ashleigh in Thailand on a beach and again on top of Sydney Harbor Bridge. He finally decided that at the end of their South American back packing trip to seriously ask the question – this time Ashleigh knew he was for real.
The evenings celebration is one to remember, full of belly laughs, crazy dance floor antics and so much love.

A glorious winter’s day at Baxter Barn had Jemma and Isaac celebrate with their family and friends in marriage. These two gorgeous humans were a breeze to work with. So chilled out and happy to be together.

Kind Words
Abbie was our absolute dream celebrant. She was the first celebrant we caught up with and the last. There was no need to research anyone else because it felt like we walked away from someone we already knew. Abbie is easy going, very friendly and just understands you as a person. We caught up around twice before our wedding day and had a phone call about a week before our wedding. She has done plenty of weddings in the past and knows all the loops and tricks which made our special day even better. Even when we were say vowels or signing our certificate, Abbie would always make us laugh and make us feel calm. Couldn’t of asked for anyone better! Thank you again Abbie!!

Wow, what can I say!? Abbie is just one of those above and beyond kinda gals. She was there to help with anything we needed, she was kind, loving and friendly. But she was also direct when needed. She helped calm any nerves but also helped amp us up too. I’ve witnessed many of Abbie’s ceremonies before being in the wedding industry but having her do my own wedding ceremony was just incredible.
